White tigers aren't endangered, no more so than regular tigers. They're just a genetic mutation of a normal orange tiger, but they are rare in the wild because the are crappy hunters since they stand out so much. They're bred in captivity and they have to kill a lot of the cubs because they are too ugly [link]

Gorgeous picture.

And about the link for the white tigers...Oh my goodness. I had no idea. I like to think of myself as totally informed about big cats and such, but the white tiger plight is something I had never heard about.

That was the scary part, that someone understood me.
I love how the tiger's eyes contrast to the background, and how the photo seems to focus only on the tiger. I must say, this is a good photo.
