I spent the whole day focusing on light, so a lot of my images were similar to this one. I don't really know how to edit them properly, seeing as I've never really taken that many photos like this before. I will give it a try though, thanks for the advice
No worries. If you are using PS you might want to just try maybe going Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels and then go Edit > Fade Auto Levels til the colours look right. Then go Image > Adjustments > Curves and just increase the line so you get a slight single curve above the original until it looks right. You can use the curves without the levels to see what that looks like too. Hope that might help. As I say, it's still a really nice image.
An amazing shot, and how you managed to capture the light in this is just wonderful, it really draws the viewer in and keeps their eye there. IMO I honestly believe this is one of very best "Big Cat" shots I have ever seen on DA. Congrats!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
