What a beautiful doggie! We've tossed around the idea of getting a collie ourselves, we have a nice big yard for it to run around with lots of birds that come around..but we're uncertain if we'd be able to keep it active enough with our schedules (though it wouldn't lack love!). We'll see in time!
Thanks They're fantastic! A word of advice though- when we got ours, we had an enormous front and back yard and had an electric fence installed. Now with the economy our yard is about 140 square feet I think it's more important that you have the proper attitude for such a dog. Having the schedule and being able to make it a priority that will let the dog enjoy long walks and lots of attention (our dog seems to get her energy out with tricks, mental activity, and snuggling, not necessarily lots and lots and lots of exercise) seems to be the most important thing. If you can manage it though I don't think there's any kind of pup I'd rather have
