Yes, horizontal fits this photo more than vertical.
Anyways I'm always more fond of horizontal photographs =P.

I disagree, I think the vertical fits better. You miss the light in the bottom of the image here, and the rock in the upper part of the vertical image somehow gives an extra bit of tangibility to the piece.

Wow, what a wonderful capture!! You must feel very happy to have captured this in a photo, it is rare enought that zoo animals do anything interesting while one is there. I totally adore this (faved!!). :-)
