A quick & helpful guideline for photographers to help them choose models and how to find them.

The Amur Leopard is one of the most endangered animals on the planet. It is believed that there are only 30-40 still living in the wild. You see more people at the grocery store every day than the number of amur leopards that exist in the entire world in the wild.
It takes about 25 leopards to make one coat of leopard skins. Poaching and habitat loss have devastated this species. SSPs, or species survival breeding plans for the leopard, are facing tremendous odds. This female leopard can make no contribution to her species' survival. Because her genetic history is unknown she cannot be bred; with such small populations still available for breeding, inbreeding and genetic complications are highly likely. If you would like to try to help the amur leopard, I looked up some organizations that are trying to conserve the species. Please check them out and do what you can. Thanks, I hope it gets publicity too. It's really the only way I can contribute to conservation, and believe me I've been trying! haha

I haven't seen the series, but I adore Planet Earth so I'll keep my eyes open for the segment!

The only thing I would add, is to mention something about the links. Maybe above them add, "Here are some great websights that give more information and provide an oppurtunity to help these endangered cats."
